This is the Queen Victoria Jubilee Cross betwen Orton and Crosby Ravensworth. The incription reads: On the 21st of June 1887 this ancient beacon was here kindled by the loyal subjects of Crosby Ravensworth and Orton to commemorate the jubilee year of the beneficent reign of her gracious majesty Victoria, Queen and Empress.
